Swedish alternative pop band Mos Isley returns after a several month hiatus with its latest single, the cleverly titled "M • L • E." Comprised of Philip Montagu-Evans, Johan Holmgren, Hugo Lundwall, and Jocke Jensen, the band made its entry into the music scene back in 2015 with debut single, "Mirrors," reaching number one on Swedish Radio's P3 Unsigned program. Mos Isley's subsequent singles have been featured on playlists the likes of Spotify Viral Hits and Viral 50 USA, along with recent single, "Someone To Call My Own" having been featured on ABC TV's hit series, The Good Doctor.
Drawing comparisons to Keane, Coldplay and Kent, Mos Isley creates an infectious soundscape that incorporates falsetto-mixed melodies, soaring guitars and powerful synthesizers. The band remarks that "M • L • E" is a song that was originally conceived in NYC in 2012 and took eight years to complete. Delicate, acoustic fingerstyle guitar playing carries "M • L • E" throughout its first half as the momentum gently and beautifully builds to give way to the track's pulsing, anthemic crest. This glistening, magical energy carries this impressive and powerful indie pop anthem to its heartfelt close.
"We’re dancing alone in a crowded place
Feels like we’re stuck in a dream shipped to outer space
When we need it the most love is all we breathe
Tell me what you see my M•L•E"
