Angel Snow | Window Seat (new single and video)

"Window Seat", the new single from Nashville-based singer-songwriter Angel Snow, is a stunningly beautiful and delicate musical ray of hope that speaks to getting through the difficult times. I first fell in love with Angel's mesmerizing, emotive vocals and songwriting when I first heard Magnetic (2017), her breathtaking and most recent full-length album. The reflective, atmospheric "Window Seat" is a testament to "less is more" from a musical production perspective - the end result perfectly allowing Angel's captivating vocals, the lyrics and melody to brightly shine through and command the listener's attention.

Angel co-wrote the song with Ben Cramer of Old Sea Brigade, who also produced the track. On her Facebook page, Angel notes, "This song is about the precarious nature of our lives, and learning to embrace the unique path made out for us." Regarding the 'window seat' theme, she writes, "In all my travels over the last few years, I’ve spent a lot of time in the window seat. This is a song about learning to embrace the storms of life with contentment no matter the outcome."

"And when the future looks black | There’s no other way around it Take a window seat | No other way but through it"

Perhaps this beautiful and poignant song might become a source of strength and perspective for keeping on and focusing on overcoming your obstacles.

And with that, we leave you with the moving accompanying music video to "Window Seat", shot by Tim Cofield.
