Kédence feat. Mawule | Can't Stop Now (new single)

If you're looking for a catchy, upbeat song to stay motivated and keep your eye on the prize, whatever that may be, then look no further than "Can't Stop Now," the new single release from Denver-based singer-songwriter and producer Kédence, and featuring Ghana-born, Denver-based musical artist Mawule. Highlighting the ups and downs of following your dream, "Cant' Stop Now" is one of those unique songs that both sonically and lyrically inspires one to persist and remain positive.

"I will rise up if I'm falling down

Gotta find myself through the struggle now

Wanna (I will) make it, I gotta make it"

Kédence's heartfelt, expressive vocals are the icing on the rhythmic vibe of "Can't Stop Now," making the chorus an inspirational earworm you can take with you long after the song has ended, putting that extra little energy and confidence in your stride.

"No I can't stop now, cause I don't know how

You can push me down, I won't touch the ground

you can see, how I be

and I can't stop now, no I don't know how

Try to strike me out, but I won't back down

Now you see, how I be"

Kédence's love of music came early in life, having been inspired by her singer-songwriter mother who has been her vocal coach and music partner. At the age of seven, Kédence was encouraged to learn music theory and learn to play an instrument. She chose the violin and has been playing violin ever since. She has since added some piano and guitar to her instrument list.

It was only natural that an interest in producing music came next. At the age of 19, Kédence began making beats with GarageBand in her free time. Her mother enjoyed the productions and they started their own songwriting, production and publishing entity Song Culture. Kédence then upgraded to using Pro Tools and Ableton for their productions and continues to use those and various professional tools for producing and songwriting.

In her music career to date, Kédence has collaborated with many top-tier producers, engineers and artists and hopes to write and collaborate with more artists. She has been featured on numerous radio playlists across the country and aims to continue landing more radio, film and TV placements.
