Stockholm-based indie band Shout Out Louds unveil their new music video for "Ease My Mind," the title track (and my favorite song) from their spectacular fifth studio album (Ease My Mind) that has already produced a string of impressive singles ("Paola", "Porcelain", "Oh Oh", "Jumbo Jet"). The long-awaited new album followed a four-year break since the band's previous album: 2013's Optica. The current band line-up consists of Adam OIenius, Bebban Stenborg, Carl von Arbin, and Ted Malmros.
Stepping into the vocal spotlight for "Ease My Mind" with her captivating, dreamy voice is Bebban, alongside a magical, laid-back, and acoustic guitar-driven soundscape. With a vibe that makes me think a bit of "crimson & clover," this really is an outstanding track that 'eases your mind' just as the title suggests.
The music video for "Ease My Mind" - directed by Ted Malmros, featuring Bebban, with animation and Fx from Peder Bergstrand - is delicately bursting with cool blue, violet and pink, and complements the mellow mood and atmosphere of the track. Watch the dazzling music video for yourself.
