If you haven't heard the brilliant, new Blondie single, "Long Time", then you're missing out on one of the most energetic, upbeat, feel-good songs this band has written. This song showcases all the trademarks of a Blondie hit single - with an anthemic atmosphere and energy similar to that of Blondie classics like "Heart of Glass" and "Dreaming". Co-written with Blood Orange's Dev Hynes, the songwriting is top-notch, Debbie's voice sounds as strong as ever, and the band sounds tight and polished. Blondie's still got it! I've been continually impressed with each new album they've released as part of their "second incarnation" (as I call it) that started with 1999's No Exit, which gave us the first new Blondie album following a 17-year break.
