"The Wind" is the brilliant new single from musician, professional soccer player and Swedish Idol 2013 winner Kevin Walker. Several years ago, while unable to play soccer for an entire year due to an injury, Kevin bought a guitar and learned how to play. Fast forward a few years, he was spotted by Swedish Idol after singing at an open mic one evening. He entered the competition, and ended up winning. Since releasing his debut album, Belong (2013), he has released a number of impressive one-off singles, including "Six String" (2014) and "Come Closer" (2016).
"The Wind" is layered with intricate acoustic guitar arrangements, strong vocal harmony, with a gentle movement and reflective lyrics. Kevin's delivery of the song's harmonious, a cappella ending ("Leave no shadow over me") is inspirational and leaves you wanting more. The song's accompanying video with breathtaking scenery was filmed in Wexford, Ireland.

Kevin is currently writing new material and working with producer Chris Rehn (of the Swedish band tAKiDA). On his Facebook page, he notes that "The Wind" is the just the beginning of a lot more material to be completed in 2017.
